It’s been the usual work, rest, play cycle for the past week, pretty much.
I saw Diana Krall at the Palais last night. I have to say, the recorded stuff I’d heard until then really didn’t do her justice. The concert was awesome. I can’t believe I didn’t know about her until recently. I’ll be running out and buying up a whole bunch of her CDs now. Truly fantastic stuff.
I also managed to catch up with a few friends I hadn’t seen in months. It was great to see them and hear about what they’d all been up to. This year just seems to be flying past, for all of us. Life is what happens when you’re too busy making other plans, I guess.
Mac Hall comics started up again while I wasn’t watching, which is excellent news. I really like their stuff, so I’ve added them to the comics list. In fact, it inspired me to check out a few other new comics, which are excellent, and make me wish I had the time to learn how to draw.
I also recently bought a new Logitech mouse, an MX-1000 I think it’s called. It’s ergonomic and wireless and it really does rock. I wish I’d got it ages ago. Sitting in front of a computer all day with an old, cheap mouse was starting to give me RSI, and this new one is much, much nicer to use. Check it out if you’re in the market for a new mouse.
