Melbourne VMUG User Conference: Chris Wahl

In this interview with Chris Wahl, we cover why we don’t eat shrimp at 7am, how to pronounce Melbourne, and how he got involved with VMUGs in the first place. Listen in and learn how maybe one day you too could fly halfway around the world to present at a VMUG User Conference.

We also talk about NFS and Exchange support, and how the industry is changing to cope with the enormous growth that’s going on across all the components of IT.

Chris is a VCDX, and he regularly presents at VMUGs throughout the northern United States. He runs WahlNetwork.com which is full of great content on all things tech. I first met Chris at Tech Field Day 9 in Austin, in 2013, and he’s a great guy.

He has a book coming out! Networking for VMware Administrators. Buy as many as you need to ensure you have no single point of book failure.

This interview was recorded at the Melbourne VMware User Group User Conference on 4 February 2014.
