The server was down for a few hours due to a dead power supply.During the cold day yesterday there was apparently a power failure at the house and the power supply for the main firewall didn’t start up again. I’ve cannibalised one from another server, so we’re back in business while I source a new power supply for the other server.
It’s a pity my old laptop doesn’t have more than one interface, since it’s basically got a built in 3 hour UPS.
Anyhow, back to the usual schedule. Work’s pissing me off, but I’ll just have to deal with it until this little period of major projects finishing.
Lots of other stuff to post about, but it’ll have to wait a bit while I go and write more documentation. Yay.
